Experience has shown that while many step into politics with a burning passion and desire to bring about a change, and to impact their community positively, they are seldom prepared for the responsibility of leadership that comes with their political role. As a result, many well meaning and passionate politicians either lose themselves in the process of trying to play politics or set about doing a good job the wrong way, yielding little or no result.

This course is therefore designed to help you understand the importance of learning, and how to be, a solid individual before venturing out into politics. It will help you learn first hand from experienced and impactful political leaders, and prepare you for navigating the challenges you might encounter on your political journey.

• Irish Political History and Structure.

• Civic Responsibility.

• How to get involved in politics.

• How to make impact in your community.
